Traveling over the winter holidays? Whether you’re planning a special end-of-year getaway or are just trying to get away from staying with certain members of your family, these hotels (all of which we’re proud to call clients!) go above and beyond to bring holiday cheer.

1. Hotel Del Coronado, CA

Del Coranado

Hotel Del Coronado (or “The Del” as its known by guests) doesn’t let their beachfront California setting stop them from winter holiday fun. Each year they construct a seasonal ice skating rink where guests enjoy their once-in-a-lifetime Skating by the Sea, gliding across the ice while watching the sun setting over the Pacific ocean. Warm up (or more aptly--cool off?) after at the new rinkside lounge, Frostbite, featuring plush seating around a roaring fire pit, unlimited hot cocoa and coffee and an a la carte holiday menu of seasonal snacks and libations. The Del also hosts a wide range of activities to make spirits brights, from Brunch with Santa to Skating with Tara Lipinski, and a Christmas Day holiday feast.

2. The Eliot Hotel, Boston

The Eliot is the perfect place to revel in Boston’s annual (and free!) First Night celebration. From cultural performances to light displays to a stellar midnight fireworks show, guests can stay close to the holiday action.

3. Coeur d'Alene Resort, Idaho

Coeur d'Alene

Coeur d’Alene Resort takes full advantage of its beautiful lakeside setting by hosting the annual “Journey to the North Pole” Holiday Lights Lake Cruise. Throughout the holiday season, this wonderland of over 1.5 million lights boasts the largest on-the-water holiday light display in America. The cruise visits Santa’s North Pole Toy Workshop where Santa greets each child by name, as they enjoy America's Tallest Floating Christmas Tree and a special fireworks show. The resort also offers a number of indoor holiday treats, such as Cookies & Milk delivered to your room by Santa’s Elves (for a small fee), and Evening Children’s Holiday Fireside Storytime in the resort lobby.

4. Four Seasons New York, New York

The Big Apple glitters brightly during the holidays, perhaps nowhere brighter than in the soaring lobby of Four Seasons Hotel New York where the majestic tree sparkles like the Manhattan skyline. The luxury hotel also offers a decadent Christmas lunch for the city who never...cooks.

Linger a bit longer to enjoy the Times Square ball drop nearby, or stay in for the gourmet 5-course prix fixe dinner or the top-flight festivities at the hotel’s luxe Ty Bar.

5. Liberty Hotel, Boston

Liberty Hotel Boston

The Liberty, a Marriott Luxury Collection Hotel, isn’t content to trim one tree in the lobby. Instead, they delight guests who may be looking upward to search the skies for Santa by hanging a number of (fully decorated!) Christmas trees upside down from the ceiling each year. Those looking for a fun winter activity can try the hotel’s complimentary curling, complete with help from the “curling concierge”.

They continue the festivities into the New Year with a Secret Garden: An Enchanting New Year’s Eve party, featuring DJs, food, dancing, and live performances from The Boston Circus Guild on all levels of The Liberty.

6. The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas

Flat champagne and cover bands? “Thank u, next.” New Year’s Weekend at The Cosmopolitan kicks off with Ariana Grande live in concert, followed by New Year’s Eve at the Ice Rink, with open bar, world-class entertainment and ice skating at the rooftop Boulevard pool with a spectacular fireworks show above and the Las Vegas strip below. Not so good on the ice? Visit one of The Cosmopolitan’s clubs to ring in 2019 with Imagine Dragons, French Montana and more.
