For 10+ years, Cait Mulcahy has been an integral member of the In-Room Plus team. If you’ve ever called in to place an order or make a customer service inquiry, you’ve heard her friendly voice on the other end of the line. But Cait (aka Chloe) wears many important hats, from inputting and coordinating orders with the production team, to helping our clients add a new and exciting product, or even set-up full minibar programs. Sometimes you might even find her throwing on a (very fashionable) hairnet and lending a hand filling orders and so much more!
We sat down with Cait to celebrate her work and get an inside view of In-Room Plus through her inside perspective before the closing of the month of March celebrating Women and Women in History!
What In-Room Plus product do you love most and why? Milk & dark chocolate sea salt caramels. They really hit the spot when I need something sweet, which is basically all the time.
Which In-Room Plus product is a customer favorite and/or gets ordered the most? Gummy Bears for sure. They are colorful, come is all containers and so delicious.
What do you like most about working at In-Room Plus? My co-workers. I think I truly have the best ones. They are my chosen family and I adore them all.
What's your favorite IRP blog post? Haunted Hotels and Zodiac Snack Attack!
If you could travel to any city in the world, where would you go, and why? Anywhere in Ireland. Not only am I part Irish, but I read a loft of Irish literature and I would love to see some places my books have taken place.
If you could stay and any one of the hotel properties that we partner with, which one/or two would you love to stay at, and why? Oooooh, so many to choose from! I definitely would love to go to COMO Parrot Cay for the sunshine and glorious beach. Another one would be The Beekman in NYC. It is so gorgeous, elegant and rich in history.
What's something most people don't know about you? I am an avid reader. I love all genres!
How do you spend your time when you are not at work? Being a mom. I have 2 young children that keep me busy and on my toes at all times.

What would you be doing if you weren't working at In-Room Plus? Hmm, I don't know...probably a stay-at-home mom.
Who is an icon you admire? RBG! A true progressive icon that fought and succeeded for women's and human rights. Her determination and integrity is what legends are made of.
What's the last movie you cried to? Encanto
Ketchup, mustard or pickles? Pickles all day long!
Do you have any words to live by? "You can either like it or like it a lot."- my dad
